Our interactive app allows practitioners to add information about daily routines and meals. We also upload pictures, videos and daily observations throughout each session. Our outdoor learning environment - the world

The setting is located in the most fortunate of positions on Hornbeam Park and provides a secure base for children to go out and explore the world around them. Our highly skilled and first aid trained early years practitioners support children’s wellbeing by ensuring every child gets to explore the great outdoors each day. Our children at not limited to the confinement of a garden, instead they have wonderful opportunities to explore Nature in its natural environment – THE WORLD 

Our approach

Our children are not confined to the nursery; we provide all children with the opportunity to explore the great outdoors every day! We hunt for bugs, climb trees, and even go on bear hunts!
At Natures Little Learners Hornbeam Park, we embrace nature in many ways, including going for a walk, learning to ride a bike through the woods or just enjoying the wonderful opportunities that all four seasons have to offer us.

Each member of our team completes our robust induction process, which focuses on safeguarding children and continuous risk assessment . We provide everything your child will need to safely explore the indoor and outdoor environment.

Action-packed extracurricular activities

We work with other amazing professionals from the local area - who attend the setting to provide additional weekly activities - Dance, yoga, sign & sign, adventure babies, football classes, forest school activities and much more.

Flexible sessions & all inclusive rates

Flexible hours to accommodate parents with busy schedules.
Full days - 7.30am to 5.30pm - £62.50
Half days - 7.30 am to 12.30pm - £38
12.30pm to 5.30pm - £38
Early starts - 7am to 7.30pm - £3.50
Late finish - 5.30pm to 6pm - £3.50

Limited Term time only available - minimum of 3 days per week required
We accept all funding - (T’s & C’s apply)

Both my children have attended Nature's Little Learners (one of them is still there), the setting itself is so lovely and welcoming. I'm 100% confident that my daughter is well looked after, she is so happy when she arrives at nursery and always comes out smiling. I would go as far as saying that leaving my daughter with the staff at Nature's Little Learners is like leaving her with a family member she's that settled! They do a variety of activities with the children and send daily updates/pictures which I love and always enjoy receiving them.

As a parent, finding the right nursery for your child can be daunting. However, our experience with Natures Little Learners- Hornbeam Park has been nothing short of amazing. Our son has been attending for nearly 2 months, and we couldn't be happier with the care and attention he receives.

The staff at Nature's Little Learners- Hornbeam Park are exceptional. Their professionalism and genuine care for each child are evident in everything they do. We appreciate the consistent communication, as they keep us informed about our son's progress and daily adventures. It's reassuring to know that he is in capable hands.

I cannot recommend enough!
After a bad experience with a previous nursery I was reluctant to put my son into another, however Nature's Little Learners Hornbeam has restored my faith. My son settled straight away, the team are caring and I go away knowing that he is happy in their care which is so important as a mother. The nursery offers beautiful facilities and my son loves the amazing trips, adventures and forest school activities. His development in terms of recognising numbers and letters has come on leaps and bounds in the space of 4 weeks which really shows the time and effort the staff put into the children in their care. I cannot recommend enough!

She is always busy playing making modelling clay, painting and baking and the slide in the garden room is so big and fast she loves it. Despite not having a garden all the children go outdoors every day. The woods are just round the corner for exploring train spotting and animal spotting. They've even been on trips to the playground, the cafe and even took a train to Harrogate to spend the day at Valley Gardens. The nursery has a resident tortoise who she likes feeding and even bathing every once in a while. Really happy to have found a local nursery which I'm as happy with as she is.

He absolutely loves coming here
Gorgeous setting, so glad I found this nursery for my little one. He absolutely loves coming here which makes me so much happier about going to work. He really enjoys the forest school and he has learnt so much. The staff are amazing and keep me well informed on a daily basis. I wouldn't send him anywhere else.
